SikaLatex®-118 (often called Sika Susu in Malaysia) is a modified synthetic polymer emulsion designed for use as a bonding agent and mortar additive. It is specifically formulated to improve adhesion, water resistance, and overall strength in cement-based mixes.

Key Applications
- Bonding Slurry: Creates a strong bond between old and new concrete or plaster.
- Floor Screeds: Enhances the strength, durability, and abrasion resistance of floor leveling coats.

- Repair Mortar: Ideal for patching thin layers of concrete and fixing cracks without crumbling.

Mixing & Application Guidelines
- Standard Dilution: Dilute 1 part SikaLatex®-118 with 4 parts water to use as the gauging water for your cement/sand mix.
- Bonding Agent (Slurry): Mix 1 part SikaLatex®-118 with 1 part water, then add cement until it reaches a creamy consistency. Brush this onto the surface right before applying the new mortar.
- Consumption: Approximately 0.8 – 1.2 kg per m² per mm of thickness, depending on the application type.
- Surface Preparation: The substrate must be clean, structurally sound, and pre-wetted (saturated surface dry) before application.
